We have to say that every event is a unique experience, and when you collaborate with someone that allows you to express your art, to be yourself, things just get a lot better. Kelly McBartlett thank you for this amazing opportunity, and for trusting your friends and family in our hands. It was a great deal for us to work for you and The Group Inc. What an amazing little place you guys have at The Source.

There is nothing more fun and interesting than a new adventure. Specially one that the main purpose is to make other people’s life better. For those reasons you can always count with Us. This adventure started with a call from Jennifer Lauren from The Family Center/La Familia, which is an organization that is dedicated to help parents who are in need of a daycare and can’t figure in their financial plans a place. We had no idea what where where getting ourself into, but as much as we are not about competing, the other part that we are really interested… helping. So we where sign up for the Chef Challenge for Children.
This adventure has been a rather interesting one… it all started with a full goat from Homestead Ranch, to butcher at home. This was definitely something new for us. Juli has not done this kind of butchering since Culinary School, and me, I had never even thought on having to do it, unless it was for survival. But you know life presents with this interesting surprises. Full on board with a small Youtube investigation on when and how to start, the adventure had already begun… it took us about 3 to 4 hours to do the work, but we where ready. I have to say that it was not easy for me to do this, and I do not know if this is something I would like to get myself into again. But never the less an experience for sure.
What a great opportunity to do an event for such a great Real Estate Company. We love any kind a culinary adventure and this one was not an exception. A new residential development called Kechter Farms by Toll Brothers is happening here in Fort Collins and you all should go and take a peak!!
Little have we been around this amazing City of Fort Collins, and the way it has embraced us is something we take our hats off and bow with our hands in our hearts, as we say Thank you. This time we were invited by Dani Grant owner of The Mishawaka and Taylor Walker owner of Mountainside Events, to cater the Centennial Anniversary of The Mishawaka at the Museum of Discovery here in gorgeous Fort Collins.
This event we had the opportunity to do a Drop-Off Catering at Galvanize in Fort Collins with one AMAZING Woman!! Maria E. Gregori you are someone true to admire!! Moving a great company called Leading Learners LLC, which gives great opportunity to young people to have a one-on-one academic coaching and tutoring to help excel in their studies as they become responsible for their own education and independent paths. You can read tons about it in this link… http://leading-learners.org
There are always new challenges in life, and they all differ from time to time. This past month we had an amazing great opportunity in our little Juli y Juan Company. Thru an amazing great friend that we have met in the Riviera Maya we got contacted with a true company. Colorado Fund for People with Disabilities or better known as CFPD, is an organization in Denver that seeks to enhance the independence and quality of life for people who are elderly or disabled and their families. How cool is that!!! They are into doing good!! into making a difference in our beloved Colorado and we are all into jumping all over those amazing and great opportunities.
There are a few things that one must love about what they do, but this last Friday was definitely one that we loved being part of it… SpokesBUZZ CD Release VI. It all started with a call from this amazing person, Taylor Walker, who was mainly putting all the show together, We where asked to donate our time for an amazing cause… so when we knew we where going to be a wagon on the train to help young musical artist have a shot on performing their passion, we could have never refuse!! As we love helping people perform…so we tied our Juli y Juan wagon to the SpokesBUZZ Train an decided to share our culinary passion.
